With 75 million downloads, Serial has become the most popular podcast in the world. Julie will take the audience backstage in the creation of this cultural phenomenon. Using some of her favorite tape, Julie will tell personal behind-the-scenes stories, explain how certain episodes were constructed, and allow the audience to follow the ups and downs of creating a new form of modern journalism. Julie will also take your questions and talk about the evolution of This American Life, which is heard by more than 4 million listeners each week and at which she is the senior producer and has worked for 18 years.

All proceeds go to benefit the Colorado Poverty Law Project, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission to recruit, train, and assist volunteer attorneys in providing services to the homeless and indigent in Colorado.
