Using some of her favorite tape, Julie will tell personal behind-the-scenes stories, explain how certain episodes were constructed, and allow the audience to follow the ups and downs of creating a new form of modern journalism. Julie will also take your questions and talk about the evolution of This American Life, which is heard by more than 4 million listeners each week and at which she is the senior producer and has worked for 18 years.
All proceeds go to benefit the Colorado Poverty Law Project, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission to recruit, train, and assist volunteer attorneys in providing services to the homeless and indigent in Colorado.
